Irritable and on edge

Stress releases the coping chemical adrenaline in the body. If it's not used up, it can leave us feeling irritable and on edge. Get rid of excess adrenaline and wind down by being more physically active.

Easy ways to get more active:

- Leave the car and walk or cycle for short trips
- Meet a mate for a daily stroll or to play sport
- Put some music on and dance around at home
- Take the stairs whenever you can, not the lift or escalator.
